You have to look at it from our point of view. When you see a picture like that and read that they are healthy"¦ you are going to raise the flag and ask the questions. All this would have been avoided if you had stated that up front. It's not about questioning our intelligence, there are smart people on this site and that's why this thread went the way it did.
 
I paid $60 for the blue and $40 for the purple I was simply trying not to lose money on them. I didnt know if they would live or not when I got them. They are obviously not going to die so if someone wants them they can tell me what they are willing to pay. I know they are not perfect.

We have a great online community here. We support each other and genuinely care for the animals that inhabit our reefs. Funny that you have taken a stab at the intelligence level of those within our community or more specifically those that have questioned you and your questionable animal husbandry practices. I recommend that you try using spell check before stating something so ridiculous. You even called yourself out as you tried to call out coralfragger. Hilarious! I will speak for myself. It is negligent for you to keep those tangs. It is sad for me to just look at the pics. That is simply the truth. If those were mammals who knows who would be knocking on your door by now. And all you care about is getting your money back.

Not everyone on this forum has years of experience keeping fish and coral. We try to look out for each other. Who knows what newbie might come on here thinking they are getting a great deal from someone who is selling obviously ailing livestock. We would do the same to try and protect you. Do the right thing and get those fish to a healthy tank asap. Best of luck with getting your tank straightened out.

if this was meant for me.. no i don't think badly of you. i see two sick fish who i will gladly take and put in my new tank and in a few months they will be good as new. nothing personal...
 
Frag Collector: IF I had recognized the name as someone I knew I certainly wouldn't have posted what I posted. (common sense would dictate this).

I have had many people come to my house maybe once or twice over the past few years and names (even faces sometimes) goes in one ear and out the other with me.

I do apologize for my comment and also have to agree with others that had more detail been given in the first place that I doubt that any negative comments would have been made.

If you would calm down and reread your first post. The obvious ailing fish. The lack of details. The hysterical point of ridiculous offers being ignored when if these fish were mine, I'd pay someone to nurse them back. Who woudn't think troll?

BTW: I still don't recognize who you are.

First off, YES you did.

Second, I'd be there first to say that there are really ignorant people here; but along that, there are very intelligent, respectable people as well.

But what we don't have here, are mind-readers.

You specifically posted that these fish are "healthy" when clearly they are emaciated and are in horrible shape. By your descriptions alone ( without the picture ), everyone here would have assumed these fish were perfectly fine. So the two things you presented very much conflicted. The confusion here is understandable.

I'm not one to ever tell anyone what to say and what to do. You have every right to present situations anyway you see fit. But as you have that right, other people also have right to make comments regarding your statements.
 
Whats so bad with. "Sorry guys, my mistake. I should have mentioned they were even worse when i got them"?
 
Bottom line ppl. If someone has a big enough tank to help these two fishes, I will gladly put some $$$ on them to help them get back to being healthy fishes. I am sorry I can't have them in my tank, the tang police will hunt me down. Let's keep this real and offer these fishys a good home.
Count me in for some help.

lol ban for saying what is true. All of you have had nothing but negative to say about me for trying to rehome these fish but I say something that is actually a fact and now I should be banned lol this place is so funny.
