Fsurocks99's 40 Breeder

Yeah, I tried twice last night (or should say this morning), and both times, it didn't go through. I'm sending it now.

...and sent!

Thanks MAthU! The maintenance is the same, except for having to clean out the skimmer cup occasionally and having to clean the sand. Other than that, its the same old fun stuff, but instead of changing 2-3 gallons a week, im changing 10 gallons a week.

Tonight I will be adding a social wrasse and a yellow watchman/tiger pistol shrimp pair. I'm receiving these from a friend that is breaking down his tank. So this afternoon I'm going to try to catch the red head fairy because he is too much of bully. Hopefully, the orange pistol and tiger pistol don't fight. Both are about the same size. If they do, I hope the tiger wins, lol. The orange pistol is from the Atlantic and the tiger is from the pacific so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Here's a quick update (sorry for the fuzzy pics):

I picked this up tonight. Not sure what it is, but it shows a lot of promise. It has a green tint to it with yellowish polyps. If so knows the ID of this, that would be awesome!

Looks good. I like the way the blue clams look against the black sand. We can't decide on black or white sand for our 40br build. We have been leaning towards white since the back and one side are gloss black. But the black looks so good in yours that I am back on the fence completely again.

If you can't decide, you could buy a 5 or 10lb bag of both, and add one color to one side of the tank and the other to the other side and see which one looks best. Just a suggestion.

A. Suharsonoi would be my guess. If so it's a deepwater, no direct light.

Update:

We got in an ORA shipment today and I took home an australian delicate stag and a marshal island blue bottlebrush. I had also ordered a purple nana, but it didn't really catch my eye. It looked like a normal tri-color. So I swapped for a borealis instead. I will be posting some pics of them later this afternoon.

Maricultured Tabling Acro I picked up today as well. I think it is a Tenius of some sort.
