Fuge Light Cycle

I have a softball sized ball of Chaeto under a dinky little power compact. I have had it for about a month or two and it has not got larger nor smaller. ATM I have my lighting schedule on a reverse photo period(10pm-10am). What type of light should i get? How long should i keep it on? 24/7? id like something clean due to the fact that my set up is fairly modern.

i think with the chaeto if it doesn't get enough light it can start reproducing asexually and try to spread in the tank, so I keep my light on all the time down there.

cool man i was wondering why it hadnt started to grow. as far as flow. i am going to redo my plumbing similarly to yours ReeVo but until then it is just laying on the floor of my sump not really tumbling. is that okay?

As long as there is flow going through it, it's fine.
If it completely motionless. Try having some rubble rock underneath it to elevate it. To tumble cheating u need a lot of flow and a deep sump to suspend it.

Chaeto is pretty tuff, no need to acclimate it. I run my fuge light on a reverse cycle. While the DT lights are on the fuge light is off.

I run mine 24/7 as well. I have noticed that with the reduction in nutrients that my chaeto grows much slower now.
