maybe because they don't read every single post or thread. There's so many of them. They may only intervene once they get a bunch of complaints and reports from members. By that time, things have gotten out of hand. Honestly, I read Mchava's first post of his stuff for sale. Then didn't read it again until I got home a couple of days later, 4 pages later, and I noticed Anemone post last on that thread. Then I had to check it out because I figured there were problems.

I've never had any communications with the man you all refer to as "chef." But I have read his posts and have found him to contribute greatly to this socal forum.

Greg is my neighbor but most of all my friend. I read the original posts on the thread, but like many things never revisited it. I do not know all the circumstances behind his "Banning" nevertheless of my friend I can only say this. Greg is a family man, a proud one at that, and a person whom I have been able to call at many hours for advice because he is pretty good at this hobby. The moderators have explained their position, and in law school they taught us that if a breach occurs, people must mitigate their damages. In this case, being banned may be extreme to me, but we all agree to the same TOC's. The reason I posted is for the same reasons as SniperSps, and that is because Greg is a caring friend to all.

Thanks for all the kind words folks and after finally being able to contact the mods, I AM BACK! Although I may not have said anything that seemed to warrant the temporary ban/time-out, I do understand that I should have let the issue die rather than continuing the dialog. That will be hard for me since I am a person who has a hard time keeping my feelings to myself but that is a struggle that I must deal with on my own. For now I just hope we can all just do the Rodney King thing!

Thanks guys. I beleive everyone is back with the exception of REEFER714. It is really hard to get in contact with RC mod Anemone because of his email problems. I think REEFER714 will be contacting him soon as well! Thanks again you guys for all the support.

Key term is "just about." Anemone's email does not work and after unsuccessful attempts to reach him, I was told by another mod of his continuing email problem. I was under the assumption that I would have received an email, as other mods have suggested, from Anemone regarding the issue when I was originally "Time-Outed" but I received no such email. On Monday RC mod Project Reef told me to send an email to another mod's email and the message would be forwarded. Still I have had no direct correspondence with Anemone regarding this situation, but no the less I am happy to be back. It seem like there is no set guidelines for RC mods to handle these types of issues and that might be something that might want to be addressed for the future so there is no confusion.

Actually that's not a correct statement. He's able to receive email via that address, the problem he's experiencing is that his ISP is blocking outbound mail.
