I've been a long time member of the geo club so I thought I'd show off a few new items I got today..

This is one of George Recirc skimmers using the Ocean Runner 3500 pump and one of his new Kalk reactors...

George is constantly updating and revising his designs. I can't wait to see pictures of that skimmer in action. When are you going to post some pics????

The only change I know of on the skimmer is that I wanted the Ocean runner pump over the Gen X or Sedra..That's about the only custom part of the skimmer. I'm sure there was extra fittings and glueing.

The Kalk reactor is a lot diff then the one he made for me 3-4 years ago...One diff I think he just made is glueing the fittings right to the MJ pump housing. Its a pretty sweet reactor.

I'm hoping to get the skimmer up in a few hours and then move it later when I decide where I'm going to put it. I'm thinking about putting it in the closet next to the tank where my Ca and kalk reactors are.

The bottom is removable for easy cleaning, and there is now a transition from the reaction chamber to the union.
This is the first skimmer George built with the transition sloping up to the union.

I didn't know those improvements where new. I kinda new about the transition from the body to the union being newer. George never tells me anything except for "I'm out of town right now"

C ward has George every built a skimmer with a Eheim pump?

The first plan was to use the Ehiem pump kit that H&S uses (I think its H&S) but the cost was going to be huge. I think it was over 300.00 just to get the pump\needle wheel and venturi setup. The second choice was the Aqua Medic\Ocean Runner Needle wheel pump. As far as I know this is the first OR needle wheel pump George has used.

Anybody have any pictures of a broken in recirc Geo? I'd kind of like to see what the bubbles look like coming up to the collection cup

Here is my new and hopefully last piece from GEO. He did an outstanding johb. I am yet to see other commercially available products that come close to his craftmanship.
Shot of the wet neck as I was assembling it.
