No they are not, they are GEN-X 6000's

It is 5 ft tall with a 12" diameter tube. Powered by 4-Gen X 6000 and fed with about 700 gph. I have 5 different GEO skimmers, this is my favorite. Also, to the right and left are GEO Kalk, Calcium, and phosphate reactors all automated.

Here is another one. 5 feet tall, 8" diameter, powered by 2 Gen X 6,000. About 700 gph pumped to it. Picture taken right after I turned it back on.

i have a GEO kalk reactor, and was wondering how many times i should turn on the mixing pump daily and how long it should be left on?

I am programming my ACIII and would like to know.

I also got another quesiton. I am looking for new skimmers, and have narrowed it down to an external needlewheel skimmer. I saw GEO's skimmer on phisy business but it says up to 250 gallons. I have a 225 gallon tank. I am worried this wont be enough, what do you guys think??

If you really want a GEO, then have George custom build one for you.

yeah but hes backed up and i heard hes only selling to the websites listed on his site. I would like to have the skimmer within a few weeks.

This beckett skimmer is ****ing me off, it would have ot be external i dont have enough room in the sump.

if in a hurry i would try another brand then

I'm about 6.5 with the GenX media, too. For the Korallith make it more like 6.7 otherwise it can turn to mush.

Thanks, guys. I was guessing that the Gen-X would require a lower pH. I'll gradually increase my bubble rate until I get there.

I need some help, I have the Geo 624 calcium reactor and when I test filled it I got leaking on the top from the o-ring. Somebody posted and said to use some reef safe lube and that would take care of the problem. I added the grease to the oring and made sure it was seated correctly and tightened the nuts down and when my feed pump is on it still leaks at the o-ring right by pump side plumbing area. I tightened the nuts down until they couldn't go any further and the one side actually popped up a little. Please help! I don't know what else to do. I am using what I thought was the correct size Maxi-jet pump for the feed pump (MJ-12).

how long have you own the reactor?

maybe you are overtightening the nuts...

once you see the o-ring starting to compress a bit, give the nut another 1/2 turn and that should do it. there really isnt taht much pressure in the reactor to tighten it much more than that. also, try to tichten the nuts like you are changing a tire, like going in a star pattern.
