George and Martha are together again

I was afraid I now had Martha and Georgette but in my 3rd attempt to re-intorduce my femle to her former mate she finally was able to kick his ***.

It took a VERY STRESSFUL (for me and them) 10 minutes of fighting to figure things out but they've been doing ok now for a while with appropriate submissive behavior and even went right back to doing some cleaning of their old nesting site.

Here is a pic of the damage he did to her during those first ten minutes. She is over 5" long and they were flying around the 72 so much it reminded me of Johnny Cash's fight in the song "A Boy Named Sue"

They both survived the night. That's a good sign. I sort of with my peppermint was in the display to help clean their wounds but I'm sure I'd never get it out if I put in there.

Well, they are getting back to normal. She is still a little discolored and super-careful about anything that gets near her guy....

edit: Don't mind the gracilaria, my new yellow tang LOVES it.
