Getting my puffer to eat

My golden puffer stopped eating while in QT about 2 weeks ago. Since I have lowered the copper level and now completely eliminated it. Ordered some chloroquine phosphate to try instead. Since then all I can get him to eat are live ghost shrimp, and even those his enthusiasm is not that of a feeding puffer. I've tried mysis, table shrimp, clam/oysters even nori and mega-marine angel. No luck with any. Trying frozen brine, silversides, and krill today after work. Suggestions?
 
When I first got my puffer he used to eat everything. Then I think he found a damsel. After that I tried everything to get him to eat.

One day I decided to throw a live crab in there from my reef (orange not hermit). He devoured it in a couple mins. You may not be able to feed him non-live again but give it a try if he's not eating. Expensive taste!

Mine ate a clown he was in QT with, I really hope i dont have to resort to live feeders. May make a feeding stick and try krill
 
Live wild caught oysters. $1 a pop. He inhales them, but they have to be fresh. Until I find another solution I guess thats the way to go. Any other suggestions I could try?
 
Do you have to open them or is he just mowing through the shells? I am bummed I had to get rid of my fowlr, those fish have great personality and are fun to watch

Yeah his personality is great, and his color is really starting to come back

I haven't tried not opening the shell, I was just eager to get him eating like a puffer should. Anyone know the lifespan on an oyster on ice? Lol. He wont eat them unless they're fresh, of course he picked the most expensive food i bought. I'll have to figure out a way to gut-load oysters until i find another solution...
