Actually yes it does at least at the tap level and is any where from 54vac to 92vac or dc can't remember which from my catv days but the current is minimal, but as long as it is just the coax and not an outlet no worries oh and btw standard phone lines are 54vac also just don't carry a signal

I believe its about 30vac.

However.... you could put coax, carrying a signal, into water and be fine.

Don't worry about it.

Reeferon,

That top right blue tub scares the heck out of with water level that high :eek1: .

okay,

here is my 5g macro grow out fuge (white bucket) on top of the cryptic zone (blue barrel) filled with live rock. this is the initial set up and was really messy...not that the messiness improved much after the picture was taken! :D

water drains out of the remote dsb (higher up and out of picture and was installed after the picture was taken) into the white bucket which then drains out and all the way down of the blue barrel via 1" pvc. this accomplishes a fluidized flow from bottom to top through the live rock. the airlines are for added circulation without any mechanical impellers that might chew up delicate tunicate formation.

Dude, you laid it down on that one. That's a fantastic maze of pipes, pumps, buckets and valves. I stared at it for ten minutes and still cant figure out where everything is going. Nice.

Here's a pic of my first DIY attempt.

It was supposed to be an overflow but I didn't fully understand how they worked the first time around. It worked well until the water level in the tank got too low & broke the siphon.

I wish I had a pic of my DIY CO2 reactor I had on my 20g planted tank. It was a 2ltr bottle with a hole drilled in the cap. I shoved a piece of airline tubing into it, used wood glue to seal it, then ran the other end of the line to a powerhead so the CO2 would get diffused into the water.

It was powered by sugar, yeast, & water. Ugly as hell but it worked.

Heck yeah! Represent the DIY CO2 reactor!!

Let's see...I should be ok as long as I don't put the tube too far down into the bottle and the mixture doesn't rise too much. Wait, why is my tank cloudy?
