I have been slow in finishing the canopy for my cube, so I improvised a "door" to block the light. It was a perfect fit.:lmao:

As for me, I'm currently running a herbie overflow with no emergency drain whatsoever. Does that count as ghetto???
And here's my carbon reactor - a $1.99 net with some carbon in it, propped up on a baffle. Along with my ATO float, which was leaking at the seam til I gooped it with Mr Sticky's glue, and used a piece of styrofoam to make it hold the water level lower (I drilled it in kinda high ... musta been drinkin natty lite that day)

check out my emergency drain from my water change tanks and display stand. It goes downstairs, through a workout room and under the bench where my rough-in was.
I was too lazy to remove the junk i had in the window. Guess it stays now!
