Do they come with any preset programs for those that would just want to not worry about spectrum and such?

Corey

They do - there is a template, and there is a color spectrum chart where you can say 14,000 K or 20,000 K and push, or completely custom light profile.

I wish someone would do something like coral labs on the radion for the Mitras. I couldn't get my light dialed in quite right. I was a bit impatient and switched to t5. I may switch back when the new model comes out. The one thing it truly needed was a wireless connection that I'm glad they added. I loved the small puck design with reflectors instead of lenses. I do think that mounting the light higher would have helped me with the spread.

I'm just wondering, what did Coral Labs do?

well after years and years of keeping a reef tank i have given up the battle of fighting with AEFW and have lost everything. So with the said i am going to venture into keeping a planted discus tank. can anyone please share a light project with me that will bring out colors and grown plants.

I have a mitras lx 6100hv

again thank you reefcentral

Hi Michael,

I'm sorry to hear of your battle with AEFW's, been there myself.
I'm not sure if anyone sent any project files you way. I don't have experience with freshwater, planted tanks, but I would think you're probably looking for a project with less actinic and more warm, yellow, and red channels.

My Mitra LX7 just arrived. It didn't take me long to swap out my 6200 and get the LX7 setup in it's place over one of my tanks that is connected to my main system. Loving the light so far. I need to spend some time playing with it and getting familiar with the new channels. I'm currently using my Mitra 6200 programming on it which was based on a 21,000k project. I haven't turned on the new UV channels yet but I will play with that later if not tomorrow. I will update as soon as I have it all dialed in to my liking and follow up with a video covering the new lights features and setup.
