GHL Mitras Club

Hello everyone I follow the post with interest, here are what will be my first coral reef for me I hope you enjoy.

A few days ago but it seems that I have to change my shop to reef not affected much.

adamwheel, with the 26 back to front and 24 height, two should do the trick..
if you wanted crazy light coverage, you could run three of them perpendicular to the tank, but its probably not necessary.. two positioned parallel to the tank would provide very good coverage.
as m007 has shown..

Yaris, looks good!

Something I have not seen any mention of in reviews and users impressions which is very interesting is GHL Mitras 100% unique linear dimming technology.

This is where unlike standard digital dimming employed on other lamps, the voltage output to the LED is converted from stepped digital signal to an analogue wave form, meaning even when you get to sub 20% dimming you will see no step down percentage when watching the lamp dim, it will react in the same way a T5 does when dimming down, smooth and pretty much unnoticeable (depending on your time schedule between points) due to the 3,000 point dimming curve employed.

This is my GBTA. Before I was using T5s and there were no bubbles, after changing to the Mitras, bubbles! Admittedly it is somewhat smaller than before though?

3 months is a great point of success for these lights. Next thing you know we'll be seeing "It's been a year now and my coral are doing AMAZING with STUPENDOUS colors"

Cant wait to start my tank under these lights.
Couple months out..
Got one (so far..) of my 3 Mitras, my deltec pf 601s ca reactor and my deltec tc 2560 skimmer sitting in the basement, waiting..
My stainless steel stand and 3 stainless steel 'L' brackets (to suspend the mitras from back wall) should arrive mid Jan. and my low iron front tank is on order as well, as are the sumps...
Cant wait to have these lights lighting up this tank- I even bought a net book to control them..

Rodneyri and I started four months ago and and aquarium only two of them lit Got some amazing coral pieces that you display settings?

Looks from the pictures like the Mitras is the best implementation of LED yet. I wish there was a way to buy half of a Mitras. I need a light for my new Nuvo 38 and this light would be total overkill.

Tank upgrade to ago alone with your new Mitras? :)

It's an idea yes? :)

Im in the Club!

I have tried many LED units, this will be my 4th try. Lets see what they can do!

I have it in my office at work, its an Elos 70 (50g)

It used to be a packed SPS tank but now it has half a dozen frags and a few med sized colonies

Found the software confusing at first but starting to get it I think. I have it set to 50-70% max and at 14k almost all day. Will play more soon. Having a real hard time importing someone elses program though. My buttons are greyed out that should say import

Here are a couple of crappy pics, its too blue so will have to keep trying
