Just setup up my infiniti! This light is unlike anything I've come across. My tank looks 1000x times better despite utilizing 2 250 watt 20000ks and 4 T5s previously.

The tank is so darn crisp looking.

anyone have suggestion what combination of T5 and Mh bulb(s) to use in infiniti? (its 4xt5 and 1x250mh model) i never use metal halide before, only t5-s. not sure what bulbs and time schedule is best? and how often i will need to change mh bulb then? thanks

I am really happy with my ushio 20k Mr bulb and anti coral plus x2 and 2 blue plus

Phoenix for MH. I like 2 coral plus and 2 blue plus

Hi, I have used a Phoenix 14k 250w plus 1 Actinic, 1 purple plus or Fiji pink and 2 blue plus. It gives a very nice color.

im from europe, we do not have phoenix bulbs here but i will use megachrome coral 14500k instead then. and 2xcoral and blue plus seems like good choice, i will go that route then, maybe try one pink bulb too. thanks

Hey Guys,

wanted to get all your opinions on a Matrixx II T5 that I have running on my tank. I have a 36" fixture running 4 inches off the top of a rimless 22g (12x12x36)

I have a pretty stable tank as far as water params are concerned, but experiencing a lot of pale-ing out with most SPS in the tank. 8 hour light schedule running (2x ATI blue+, 1x coral plus, 1x true actinic).

I have the same husbandry techniques as my other 150g with LED's but the same SPS seems to not do as well under the T5. Kinda weird to me, but do you think the fixture is too close to the water? Perhaps too much light? I did have a couple birdsnest bleach out, polyp eject, but everything else just seems to live and encrust/grow, but not the best polyp extension or color. Thoughts?

dang, I thought so - however the leg mounts I have from Giesemann don't go any higher. Ill have to figure something out. What height would you say is best?

Finally!! I've joined the Giesemann club....been waiting for this day! Just got my new Aurora Hybrid delivered and looking forward to getting

So now that you have owned the Aurora for a while now, what do you think?
I'm thinking about getting a 36" Aurora to cover 46 x 21 x 24 and hoping this will work? Prob ditch my two radions.

Hello everyone.
What do you think of this configuration?
I have a 24" infinity now on a 30 X 30 X 26 tank. I am upgrading to a 48 X 30 X 21.
I want to keep my light but adding two AI Sol Blue at each end to take advantage of the dusk to dawn effect.
Please advise.

do you guys think this is good enough for an sps dominant 24x24x20 inches tank ? i plan on running 2 ati blue plus and 2 ati purple plus bulbs in it..

i currently use Radion g3 pro and not sure if im making a good move from leds to MH

Yeh that set up will do very well for a tank that size!
