Im thinking of putting my Vervve led`s in a stellar fixture to combat shading.
I have a 1.2M (48 inch)Tank (reefer xl425) but im not sure which fixture to get. the 1200mm (48 inch) or the 900 mm (36 inch)

I see that the stellar light fixture are on sale at marine depot .could this mean new models coming out ?

Anyone in US doing Geissemann troubleshooting or repair? I have a Geissemann Matrix II Dimtec with 8 T5's. I plugged it in, there is power to everything, but it won't light up. All 8 T5 does not light up and neither does the fans on top. So I don't think it is the ballasts. I'm thinking it is the boards as the fans doesn't turn on either, but not sure how to test it to see if is as there are no literature. Any Geissemann reps on this site?

Am I missing something very simple to try?

Unfortunately not. I did find a 24" Infiniti i picked up for a steal though! Pretty pumped about it!

To owners of Giesemann Stellar fixture.

Are you happy with it? What LEDs have you added to it?
I was contemplating getting a Giesemann Aurora V8 (from Germany) when some pointed to me that the LEDs are not the greatest as there are better options with superior lenses and optics (like the Kessil for example).

So now I am considering a Stellar so I can add any LED lights I want and also give me the ability to upgrade them in the future should the technology improve significantly. I need the 60" length for a 180 g reef aquarium.

Still looking at the Stellar. Another question, it seems from my readings is that the Stellar's T5 light bulbs are not dimmable. Could that be fixed by changing the ballasts to dimmable ones from another manufacturer?
