Gig in a bare bottom

Anyone do this? I think since it attaches to rock instead of through substrate it might work.

You can read the specs of my tank in my sig, I have the opportunity to pick up a gig from a local reefer. Gig has been doing well for him for over a year. I have had a gbta for over a year now, and know the basics of caring for a nem. I wouldn't try it with a nem from a lfs due to their mortality rate, frequently bleached, etc and then trying to place it in a tank which isn't ideally suited for it. But being that I know this guy and its an established tank and healthy nem, I'm considering it. I have a whole side of the tank I could give to it, without any direct flow(but turnover rate in my tank is around 50). What do you all think...and I value your responses, and am not just trying to hear what I want to hear

The gig will do good up high on a rock and lots of flow. That nem needs no sand so i say go for it. and if its healthy like you say I jump all over it lol Im looking for one now my self.

A gig would do fine in a BB. You would need to insure that it receives a good amount of random flow where ever you place it.

bb is fine for a gig. i'd be give it a rock to attach to.
