Gig sting

So how strong is it? My gig has been brushing an acan colony for about two days now. They both are thriving in current location, so I don't want to move either....but do I need to?

FWIW, I had an LPS sting a S. haddoni, and have heard of it happening to other hobbyists. Granted it's not a gigantea, but it just goes to show that LPS do have a very potent sting. I would watch both very closely.

my gig trumps Euphyllia

Plerogyra (very potent sting) was the only coral that could defend itself against my mag

Acans use mesenterials to digest neighbors

Plerogyra (bubble coral) by chance?

FWIW, I had a long sweeper tentacle from a Plerogyra sinuosa land on my gigantea and it stayed stuck to the gig tentacle for a while with neither particularly reacting. Eventually, they separated. I moved the bubble to protect the gigantea, but I don't know if that was needed or not.
