Gig verification please.

I found this gig at a lfs. Well I think it's a gig at least. It has visible verracue but it's hard to tell if they're purple. It obviously looks like a haddoni and is seated in sand but the tentacles look tapered. I like the fact that if it's a gig it looks like a haddoni rather than mixing species.

Shows the verracue and yellow banding.

If it's a gig then I might pick it up since the lfs will take my bta's in trade:)
What's your take?

Thank you. It's a nice haddoni but priced like a gig and the owner said it was a gig but after looking at mine I started to think otherwise.

Yup, you have the usual suspects commenting here, but haddoni indeed... Not a bad looking haddoni, but one thing I've noticed with haddonis is the mouth area has a nice yellow around it... the haddoni lipstick it's been called.

That's a haddoni. They have verrucae - just not colored ones. Sometimes when they are very obvious (like in your photo) they LOOK like they are colored, but once you get used to seeing the real thing you'll be able to tell in a heartbeat.

That's good because I just talked to the custom tank builder here and have made plans to finish my 4'x4'x20" cube and I want to make it a gig species tank with a light dusting of sps and clams. And having them be cheaper would help:) I just need a reliable supplier i.e. doesn't sell me split gigs.
