I've recently bought a new Gigantea Carpet anemone, after watching it for a couple days at the LFS and stopping in frequently. Finally I decided to bring it home. It was fully inflated and remained fully inflated for the whole hour drive home and during the whole acclimation process. It's now been in the tank for around 5 hours, and I noticed it started to eject some weird fluid from its mouth that almost looked like a cloud of smoke. I'm just wondering if this is normal behavior for a Gigantea that is acclimating to its new tank environment?
I've attached a video of the behavior below. I also believe the anemone to be a bit bleached, but figure that this should not be enough of an issue for it to not be able to survive and bounce back as it was remaining inflated for such long periods of time; as i'm well aware that a constantly inflating and deflating Gigantea is one that should be avoided.
Any second opinions and advice is appreciated. Thanks.
