Gigantea & Onyx Pair On EBay

Has anyone seen this carpet and onyx on eBay? At first I was thinking $500 "œholy crap" but now I'm wondering if this is a good deal? I see onyx clowns going for $200+ as a pair and a gigantea that size and color $200-$300. And that's a gig straight from the ocean with less than 10% survival rate. I'm wondering if a gig from another reefer that has been in captivity for so long, alone could be worth this price?

It actually sounds like a fair price to me. Not a good deal, not too expensive, but what I'd expect to pay for a gig and clowns. If I was in southern CA, I'd be interested in picking it up. I already have a pair of Onyx clowns so I'd be buying the package for the gig. I say this because I'd be willing to re-sell the clowns just to get the gig. As he mentioned, healthy gigs are EXTREMELY hard to find, and in some ways are priceless.

The gig looks good. It's really hard to tell much about its color with the actinic lighting though. I would not consider the perculas to be Onyx. They're simply WC SI perc's. With that said, I still believe the price is justified. I would want to go to the sellers house, see the spot where the clowns are laying their eggs, and I would want the rock the anemone is attached to as well.
