Good night, Glennf.
Your aquarium looks amazing. Very nice photo of the aquarium. I wish you continued success. And we are more new photos.
Sincerely Gregory.

Thanks gregory.
I will be posting more for you guys to enjoy..

I enjoy my tank every second of the day and it would be selfish to keep the picrures to myself.

WOW. All the pics look awesome. I think that last one is my favorite so far.

What type of air stones do you use in your skimmer? How often do you clean/replace them?

Sander airstones. I replace them every 2 months for new ones while cleaning the skimmer

Really? Just the old 2" wooden stones eh?

Do you have to fiddle with the skimmer at all? Or do you leave it alone till cleaning time? A lot of folks have complained about always having to mess with their old air stone skimmer

These are the ones.
4 of them does the trick.

The key to succes is to use a pond airport with a capacity of 1800liter/hour
The common Aquarium airpump are no good for this purpose
I regulate the excess air bij blowing this off with a bypass controlled with valve.

It just set and forget.
If more skimming is required i just close the valve a little bit tigther.
