Going to the bahamas

I have a question about getting over to the islands. I can't seem to find a reasonable way over there. Seeing as its only about 30 miles from palm beach. Plane flights are to expensive for a few minute flight. and I cant seem to find a boat/ferry to take us over. any thoughts? Thanks!

I haven't looked into it in a while, but I think Discovery does trips from Port Everglades in Ft. Laud. takes about 90 min. I think. Also, there was a high speed cat ferry from Miami at Bayside. look into those if flying is to expensive

discovery cruise line. very cheap it drops you off and you do what you want with the many days you stay them you get backin the cruise and come back home....look it up..

You can fly to the Bahamas for about $40/person - I will have to look into it, I use to work for a travel agency specializing in Bahamas cruises/trips.

There used to be a high speed catamaran that left out of palm beach that went to the islands. I think it was under $100/person. When are you looking at going?
