Golan's 180G Reef - A work in progress

I am now in the planning stage of an upgrade from my 90g reef to a 180G. I will post the progress here...join me

LeeMar 180G (72” x 24” x 24”)
Eurobraced, 3 panels Starphire, back panel “regular” glass

11” x 6” overflow box with one 1” hole and one 3/4 “ hole (box 10” from left)

4x 1” drilled holes in back glass for closed loop intake
1” drilled holes in 4 corners of the Euro bracing for closed loop outs

Here's the first question - where would you drill the 4 intake holes in the back glass?

Where do you recommend I drill 4 holes for closed loop given the rock formation?

I would hide them behind the rockwork as much as possible. The more equipment you can see the more distracting it is.

Have you thought about drilling in the back and not having the overflow to the bottom? You could save some space and put a closed loop hole or 2 below it.

hmmm...well...the overflow is a must for me.
