Gold Striped Maroons

I have a pair of GSM clowns. Their always together but never produced eggs. I think the female is too old (at least 15 years old).

Could I add another mated pair to the tank that are breeding or would it be war?

If the tank is large enough there's a chance. Most people would say don't risk it, especially if you don't wanna risk losing your old lady clown. Maroons can be evil anyways.

I have a pair in my 300 gallon. I would not even think of any another pair of any clownfish. These guys are just mean.

No worries, they can live much much longer and be reproductive way past 15 years..

Age is not an issue (not that 15 years is old for a clownfish) but rather feeding, environment and a general lack of stimuli. Bored clowns may never spawn. They need some excitement.

Maybe take a picture of the tank and post it here.
It would also help to get a bit more info on what else is in the tank>

That never worked for me. I usually added a pair of damsels or dottybacks.
