Golden Dwarf Moray issue

I have had my dwarf for quite a while now and he has always eaten very well, he has his picky moments but nothing like lately. I recently upgraded from the 29g biocube he was in, to a 50 gallon cube with a sump. Since moving him over just about a month ago, he has not eaten anything other than maybe random bits floating when I feed the tank and I'm not sure even that. I have tried his favorites shrimp and krill, along with silversides and scallops, nothing. He seems healthy and is active but the length of time has me worried.

Any tips or tricks anyone can offer would be awesome, I'm open to anything at this point, I just don't want to see him wither.

Thanks.

I've only recently had mine but I've been told that GDMs have been know to go on hunger strikes for various reasons. I've always had good luck getting stubborn eaters to eat by soaking food in garlic juice.

Thanks for the help, I have never fed him live food and he doesn't eat his tank mates so I think I will use that as a last resort. I forgot about garlic, I will try that tomorrow. I will also get a clam or 2, he won't eat fresh scallops but maybe clam will tempt him.

I use frozen when they dont have any fresh squid at my local fish market. I do on occasion catch my own squid to use but like spartan said dont use something with perservatives in it

I would like to thank you all for the suggestions, he finally ate tonight. The squid was the ticket! I'm so happy, I was getting worried.

how is he going? have you noticed any aggression? I picked one up a week ago and hes very reclusive, I hand fed him some silversides the other day and he is very gentle, have you found the same ?

on another topic I also picked up two of the smallest skelator eels ive ever seen, they fit inside a ball point pen they are awesome they have to practically dislocate their jaws to eat a tiny silverside lol
