Gorgonian Flow requirements?

Tuesday night I purchased a blueberry gorgonian that was completely open at the store. However it hasn't completely opened in my tank. I have been feeding consistently with a mixture of oyster feast, roti feast, arcti pods, phytoplan, and zooplan. I think the reason is that the flow isn't positioned right. It was going around the gorgonian and bouncing off the glass. I figured this would be enough because i thought that larger polyped gorgonians liked less flow but I'm not so sure of this anymore. I am experimenting with the flow and it is now directly towards it. It seems to be reacting better but I would like some opinions about the placement of the blueberry gorgonian and the flow required.

It's believed they require very strong flow. Have you done research on this coral? I can only think of 1 person that has had any kind of success with it. He said flow was the most important factor.
