I see the anemone moved himself a bit... that thing is huge and actually looks pretty cool up there where you can see it instead of in the back corner.

Yeah, it got a buzz cut a few days back. Before I got the lighting figured out, the tank was dim (different ballasts running the old 15K XM's didn;t drive very bright). That usually gets them on the move. LTA's don't typically move a whole lot, though.

Chase the carrot, D :D.

Few more. I figure while I'm at it I might as well...

garf Purple Bonsai on its side... This one is still coloring up, but hasn't changed a whole lot over the last few weeks.

Alien Eye Echino. I picked this up from Stix. It is coloring up nicely:).

Nice pics Gary... Love that purple bonsai... Did you make your canopies??? Or are they manufactured??? I'm trying to decide what to do with my new tank... I'm pretty sure I'm just going to buy a perfecto stand like the ones you have... But am still up in the air...

Hey Gary, how much was your electric bill last month? Pm that Info if you would rather, I want to compare it to mine just curious.:sad2:

Nice to see your tanks again, I can see its time to come and see them more closely, say arms length.

Or armpit length, anyway, huh;). My elecetric bills have been runnign around $300 through the winter. it drops in the winter, but then we pick up gas bills. It was much lower last year, but that was before the 3 extra MH (2 on the 120 and one on the QT).

Randy,

Those are glass cages canopies. They come unfinished and aren't the cheapest things out there (pricewise), but I already had one for the 125, so I went with one for the 120 to match. It was easier for me to finish the 120's canopy than to build a new one, so I went ahead and bought one. The stands are AGA's, though.

Wow, you've got frags everywhere! The tanks look good--very colorful. Nice pair of cinnamons too, didn't know you had those :)

I got those from TnSledge when his tank sprang a leak. Wasn't thinking the anemone would be so big, but it has fit in nicely. They are funny. I'm used to Shakes' attitude (more of a stalker than outright attacker, but with more force), but these are smaller and only think they are menacing. The female chases the magnet back and forth repeatedly when I clean the glass. She comes out like she's going to attack, but never gets closer than about 2". Right now, they have run of the tank. I hope they don't bully my hopeful/planned purchases. The LTA is making a run up the glass, currently. I guess I need to cover the overflows.

Gary:

Looks very nice indeed! When all that grows in, you're going to have a mess on your hands. Don't let the anemone get in your powerheads, or it'll all be history in short order. Now I see why you're always referencing the "needle to vein", you truly are an addict. And I thought I was bad! Oh well, if you've got any more room, next time you're out this way, stop by and I'll snip you off something you don't already have just so I can say I contributed to the mayhem :)

Dave

Mayhem indeed. I'm gonna have to thin some stuff out, eventually... Especially the zoas. Tha anemone got a nice little buzz cut from the MJ1200 about a week ago. Since, it has been crawling up the tank and is now at the top of the overflows. I wonder if this is a sign of some sort...
