Got my blue carpet

I had a blue carpet that ate an angel and a firefish. After about 3 months, it all of a sudden started to "melt." I have no clue what I did wrong, and nothing else in the tank was going bad. That's a beautiful carpet, good luck!

did you place him down there in the sand of is that his choice? is it really a bad idea to have a carpet in a tank with BTA's...im considering, i have a 100 gal....might that be enough room for both to live at peace or is it just a bad idea?

My RBTAS love to hang way up in the rock work under crevices.

I bought an extra bag of fiji live sand yesterday and I made a pile of where I wanted the carpet to be in and stay. The last thing I want is for this guy to wander around the tank.

I have a 2 island theme I used to keep 2 species of anemones. Sabae on one island and RBTA in the other. Less chances of them ever meeting.

If you have one big rock structure youll have higher chances of them bumping into each other.

Either way anemone will move where ever it is they like it. Thats why its best to make a cool looking spot where you know they'll like and hope the stay there.

thanks for the tips... im going back home (torrance) tonight for my GF's sisters pad (Irvine) and im going to be doing some remodeling in my tank (cutting LR w/ saw)... im trying to build a good LR wall along the back...i will be thinking about a good set up to see if i can house both...
