Got what I think is a cucumber that hitched in on a coral. What is it?

Picked up a couple of hairy green mushrooms today. When I pulled them apart to put in the the tank there was a sea cucumber hanging on underneath the mushrooms. At first glance it looks like an Atlantic Cucumber. What do you think? Know anything about them? Never had one. No little about them. But could certainly use one to clean the tank gravel. Any input would be appreciated. Its the ugly thing in there middle of the imager. about 2-3 inches long. PS Its already moved since I put them in the tank. So definitely a cucumber. Really curious about identifying it.

At first glance it does look like atlantic or gulf. Safe.
You could always post in the Tampa Bay Saltwater subforum.

This may work out just great. Might be fate. Got a diamond back Goby not long ago. He took a header. Got a top and another Goby. Dang fish found a two inch gap and that one took a header. So maybe this is the ticket.

Is a donkey dong or a tiger tail..atlantic/carribean guy....need a better picture..for positive ID....but either way is a totally harmless cuke......sometimes they will spit their guts after arriving..in your tank.....but usually recover..like 99% of the time...great reef tank critters...you scored!..great critter cuke.....no issues

the ones you guys need to worry about are ones from the indo pacific...pretty much all of them are bad..if they puke in your tank.....and usually different bright colors to them...stay away...like sea apples...but dangerous...

Yes.. typically cucs come out at night and hide under a rock or whatever during the day..
