green carpet not eating

I moved my green carpet to a new tank that is a little shallower, with the same lights. He lives with a couple eels, so I keep up on water changes. He seems a lot happier than in the old tank. Color came back and was eating like a champ. Now he dosen't eat at all since he got back his full color. Is the light enough for him to survive on? Or I was thinking he might be eating pods. My tank has so many of them you can see them running around constantly. You can always see a shed pod exo floating around. Maybe he is eating the pod exos?

What size tank?
What lights?
What are the current parameters? (( numbers please ))
How long has the new tank been set up?

I have a green S. haddoni, that I haven't fed since I move -- June -- and it is doing great. It is in a 65 under 2*250 MH + 2*96 PC.

I have a blue haddoni that I have had for 6 months or so. I do not feed it at all. I have it under 2 250W MH lights and 2 54W T5s. It has grown about 15-20% since I put him in the tank. I assume if the light is sufficient they do not need to eat.
