I have a new green carpet in my tank and is doing very well. I just took a look in the tank this morning and no damsel. I now it is possible, but does this happen often? Did this guy eat the damsel, no sign at all.
Damsels aren't high on the haddoni casualty list. They are pretty strong swimmers. I actually tried to feed a damsel to my carpet and the second the carpet stung the fish, it slipped out of my hand and took off. Now I have a damsel in my tank that I don't want.
Was the fish sick, or are there more aggressive fish in the tank?
The damsel was not sick at all. Only one other fish a lawnmower blenny. I just noticed this moring that there is no sign of it. At all. The carpet was a little balled up last night before I went to bed. So i put two and two together and this is what I got. Damsel meets carpet. Carpet wins.
