OK so anyone got any other ideas.

I need to get rid of this green hair algea that I have.

Already in tank cleaners
lawnmower blenny
Seahare somewhere

What I have done
manual removal
water changes

chemicals
1.025 salt
calc - 410
dlh - 10
mag - 1490

wow lawnmower blennies can knock out almost any amount..you must have a lazy one lol

PO4 levels in line?
Use RO/DI water and are filters updated(new)?

take a turkey baster or pump and blast your rocks out. How much comes out of the rocks. If a lot...do this every day for a while.

What kind of sand bed do you have. ?

What is the flow like in your tank.?

Open up your rock work if its bricked together, make sure you get good flow threw out the entire tank.

run a little amount of quality GFO

this is what i would start with IMO

Get that Mag up Ray.....I still have a little on the over flow but I don't consider it a nuisance .....Get the Mag up and Keep it up.....Kent TecM was what finally worked for me.

Running a sump yes
PO4 not sure do not have a test for it
using RO/DI water filters are new maybe 3 months old.
Flow sometimes to much two maxi jet mods one at each end
Running GFO in a reactor

nice pix

nice pix

again: what chems you runnin'?

is it the right kind of Seahare (Dolabella or Aplysia)?

do you have a Zebrasoma Tang or Foxface?

got snails (of the right type)?

TechM works against Bryopsis but you MUST monitor Mg levels

edit: are you rootin' for the Jets or Colts?

Type of seahare not sure. no tang, foxface.
Snails yes again not sure of the type.
not using the TechM monitoring mag

Rootin for neither sorry bud

from the looks on the pics... i see air bubbles trapped into the hair algae... Thats evidence that theres a lack of flow in that area. If its just in them spots, up the flow in those areas.

Re: Green hair algea

dont think i can up the flow 1400 gph on each end meeting in the middle.

i boiled some rock and going to manual scrub and do everything that i can people suggested.

the flow comment was intended for the problem area not your overall flow. If its more directed towards that area the algae may not be able to proliferate.

I see but here is the problem with that I have this same stuff in spots where the pump hits directly.

we all fight this stuff

we all fight this stuff

it's a never ending battle. Your algae isn't dense, Ray.
Some GFO and TechM will likely kill it off quickly.

I just hate to make any recommendations without knowing what other chems you're running.......
