Green Maze Brain Discoloration

Maybe this has been asked before, but i seriously can't find anything on it.

I bought a little green brain maze frag about 2 months ago, and its been doing fine.
Though i just noticed recently that it has horrible discoloration...can't remember how long thats been going on.

The valleys are absolutely brown...no green color what so ever. It used to look nice and colorful at LFS :(

I had it perched on the rock before, just moved it onto the sand a bit shaded today.

I have 2 24 inch T5HO's..can't remember the wattage

I have pretty good flow

and my parameters are decent
450 calc
10 dKH
13 Nitrates
0 Nitrites
0 Ammonia
ph: 8.2
sal: 1.0235

Other corals/fish are doing fine

The brain still puts about a few tentacles sometimes...

Also whats strange is at the valleys, there seem to be some holes..very tiny slits that don't really go away. They weren't there before. Very hard to see.

Could it be bacteria/parasite?

Thanks for the help!

Mine never liked bright light, and would bleach if it was in too much light. It was always much happier in the shade.

do some reading and make your best guess. Could be something other than light. You don't really have very much light with 2 little T5's, so your guess is as good as mine! Good Luck, IME they are pretty finicky corals.

thanks for the help! I'll look into it.
I'll probably go for a quadra t5 or a MH soon.
I just don't want to buy a chiller.

My tank runs at 80 F. I never ran any fans, until I had a cabinet and canopy built around the tank last winter. Now I have a small clip on fan to blow hot air out of the canopy. So far no problems.
