Green Pizza Anemone $50 on DD?

Maybe I just haven't been paying close attention but I'm not familiar with this carpet. Looks good and $50 ain't bad!

I have had a few C. adhaesivum over the years; the picture, description of column, and behavior does not seem to fit the specimens I have owned. Would love to have seen column shots, but "The Drs." consistently provide the best pictures and descriptions in the business, so I won't nit pick about that here or anywhere else.

Regardless of the species, it was a great looking specimen and I was seriously thinking about jumping in myself just to see it up close

Maybe we'll get lucky and the buyer will be an RC Member ;>)

I agree with above ^ . I have one that's got a purple "rim" that gives it a crust apperance. It's also 3 different colors, purple, green, and tan/gray with spots on the column. The tentacles also look different. I didn't think the DD nem looked like a pizza either. Nice looking nem though.

Looks more like a maxi nem. A carpet nem that looks like a pizza nem that only gets about 4-6 inches big

I would have a similar opinion, up until the description "in fine sandy substrate." All of my S. tapetum(Maxi's) prefer rock.

the BIG question is:

Do these:

1) Reproduce by deviding themself?
2) Aggressive? means it will kill anything it touches, including but not limited to other carpets/anemones?
