I still only did the one treatment. Nothing adverse happened. My skimmer intake venturi clogged, but it was all salt, so I'm sure it was coincidence. I'll try again when I pick up some new bacteria.@kharmaguru how’s the experiment going?

Are you dosing to achieve these levels?NO3 staying around 10 and PO4 at 0.02
DamnDid a 5 gallon water change over the weekend and changed out carbon and GFO. Now the Cyano is making yet another comeback? Guess I need to get the test kits back out.
I'm wondering if refreshing the GFO might have something to do with it? To be honest, I don't remember the last time I changed it out so it may have been some time ago. Plus, after I made the post above, I noticed that some of the macros in the fuge have died off. At least, as of last night, the corals and anemones were still looking great.Damn
Don't give up GeorgeStill have Cyano

May 2022. Was planning to swap out in 2 months.Just curious....when was the last time you changed your MH bulb?
If memory serves, I thought 1 year was the change out time for MH. Am I not remembering correctly?Granted I was running a 6500K bulb, but that was my issue on my last tank (ages ago)...
