griss' Tank Upgrade Thread

I need to start a home remodeling thread. I want a 900 gallon tank. I just configured it from CustomAquariums. 120 x 48 x 36. Now off to scare Jill.

I think this is (according to Mrs griss) the 5th last tank I could buy

Got a tiny bit of a second wind while Mrs griss was watching her Cowboys lose (go Chiefs). About halfway done with the floor of phase 1. First pic is where the tank will go.

It looks nice. The only problem I found with the vinyl is the concrete is not as flat as I thought in spots. The installer should have told us but the job was done during the crazy time when no one was working. When you have one guy show up to do gutters and he brings his wife the next day. One guy to lay carpeting and one to tile the basement. They kept calling him to go on other jobs and he wasn't very polite to them sometimes.

Made a little more progress on the VPF tonight but, ran out of underlayment.

I will say, my thighs and lower back have been killing me all day. Must be that age thing.

Stiff upper lip old chap. I am having issues with immunosuppression. Stuff normally on a human is having a party at my expense. Infected eyes, mouth and other places.
Every time something hurts you can feel happy you are better off than me. Brain damage. Bone marrow DNA damage. Testicles shut down. Wheezing, persistent nose bleeds. Other things.

I think I will go drive the Camaro too fast. Play ACDC too loud. Makes me feel better.
That bad cheese. I dont have enough left to cut the green part off anymore.

Jills dad that passed recently was retired for 30 years and had money. NEVER DID ANYTHING. His kids are happy though. I dont get along with her two brothers. They were too scared of him to care for him. They never grew up. He wasn't a bad guy. Strategic Air Command. Fixed power plants. Built smokestacks. Moved houses. Knew all manner of things. We had a good time.

X5 M50i has 100 more HP than the Camaro. 4.4 liter V8 with 2 turbos. Amazing what you can find used if you look. Camaro has 8300 miles. Made no more. Last chance for romance.

After a 10 hour day at work, I still made a tiny bit of progress. 3 rows of VPF to go. Then, baseboard. Then I can move the tank into place.

Sorry that you are going through so much with health. We all know our vitality wont last forever but we don't really accept that as a certainty until we experience it. Hang in there!
