Checked the plumbing before I left for the office this morning. 11 hours and, so far, no leaks at the "bulkhead."

When I get home tonight, the RODI will get fired up and start filling. Still need about 10-12" of water in the tank and to fill the sump.

That is really good news George! Let us know if everything is still good when the tank is full. I think you are past the worst.

Upon further inspection, no drips…almost 24 hours. RODI is going.

Got home and got the RODI going again. Hopefully the tank/sump will get to the right level tomorrow and I’ll be able to fire up the pump and add salt. Target is next weekend to move livestock if everything goes well.

After discussion with Mrs griss, it’s going to be floor. Basically, the same thing I have now but in extrusion instead of wood. She didn’t want me tapping into the wall/floor.

I was hoping to order some fresh rock in the next week or two. I need to do overnight to my door since I can't go to the airport to pickup. So, I was going to order 10 lbs each of KP and Gulf Live Rock. Unfortunately, KP is out of stock (they were in stock just last week). I emailed Kara and Philipp to see when it will be back in stock.

I've also got my buddy Andy who said I could get some rock from his tank.

That is a great way to diversify the biolife getting from multiple sources. Bummer that you need to wait on KP Aquatics but what can ya do? Maybe it wont be too long. Then when you move what you are keeping from your old tank and all that should help the new tank settle in quicker.

I don’t add any live rock after the initial add. Too risky IMM, regardless of source.
