I agree. We run all Jebao stuff, returns, gyres, wavemakers, dosers.
I simply cannot beat the quality for the price IME.
Seems China has improved reliability over the years.
Same with the pro-clear. In my area, was half the cost of all other rimless.
And made in the US!
Approaching 7 years no leaks, seems look as good as new.

How high from the top of your glass do you keep the water?
I’m messing with the return flow of the pump now. Seems 7 is too much and causes the pump to pull in air resulting in micro bubbles in the tank.

I had a jabao DCT6000 on my 56g with the pump in my basement sump. It ran perfectly the whole time I had it, quiet and pushed out 400gph after 10 ft of head pressure.
After rock that hopefully has more Carribean coral on it than just plain rock. I know TBS won’t gurantee any corals or anything and looking at pics of recent collections it seems really iffy if you get any coral or not (not sure if winter rock makes a difference here).
I got my rock from KP winter of 2017 and it had a TON of stonys. Granted, after all this time, only Porites is still around and taking over. Want some Porites? It’s brown, spreads like crazy and there’s no controlling it

Depends on the bed thickness you’re looking for.
1”-2” is plenty to house our sand lovers and at the same time, not overly deep where detrius gets stuck.
Nobody uses metric for short linear measurements that I know. Speed and temperature are it.
I'm eventually wanting a Jawfish. Likely a Dusky, Banded, Mottled or Spotfin.
Are those Viparspectra lights? If so, how do you like them?
Yes, running since 2017, throw a ton of PAR, quiet, grow anything, inexpensive.
But no individual control, just “blues” and “white” channel intensity and start/end times.
Simple.
