group buy...cleanup crews

I am in for sure on the items I PM'ed you about. I really wish I didn't have 4 fish in quarantine right now. I really want a hippo tang too.

Ok, we're up to 6 people now...shipping down to $5 plus $1 for each unique item. Hermit crabs are going to be costing us something like .19 cents each, so if you want some, this is probably the best price you could get...I'll be ordering tomorrow evening, and they should arrive Thursday as long as I can still read the info properly.

Nate - I will PM you. Not sure if everyone is picking up at your place or if you are meeting anyone. but earlier you mentioned you could possibly meet at Aquaworld. If thats a possibility around 6pm or so Thursday evening, let me know - I will join your order

Thanks

Last chance...I will be down around Aquaworld around 6PM Thurs night for those of you who live in the South...I'm placing the order around 9 or 10 tonight. Shipping is probably going to be somewhere in the $5 ballpark after you account for extra item costs...

As of this moment, we're up to 8 people, which is going to make shipping roughly $4 per person + however much of the extra item fee applies to you. Hermits are .19 each, Nassarius Snails will be .20 each, Cerith Snails .23 ea, and a few others are going to qualify for a bulk discount. Just thought I'd list a few of the more popular ones...

For those who have been asking, I will be hanging around at Aquaworld to meet the people from the city who wanted to meet there from 6 PM to 7PM or so. I have to work that night, so I can't stay much later than 7 (at least not and still get my corals I'll inevitably buy acclimated before leaving for work). I live in Gibsonia (15044) about 5 or so minutes north of the Seahorse and will be home all day after picking these up.

Gotcha Jesse. placing the order now. Seeing how late it is, I might PM everyone their totals in the AM...we'll see how motivation holds up....

Shipping for the entire order was $48.99. Say what you will, but nobody can accuse them of making money given that we got some 600 items between all the people who ordered. I will be picking it up in Pittsburgh at 9 AM on Thursday morning, so should have it ready for anyone who isn't working at 10 AM at the house here. I'll make sure that I do everything I can to get everyone else's fish in a situation where they can get some fresh water (safely of course) and everything so that as many as we can possibly allow for make this transition. Weather looks pretty good right now, so hopefully that won't be a problem either. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I'm going to get to PMing everyone their totals...

OK, cloakerpoker has picked up packages and they are at his home- but he has no power. I am running over there now to help with sorting into each persons order. His cell is 724-841-9626. I just spoke to him and the power is on /off so hopefully it will be OK soon. I am currently using wi/fi at Panera with my laptop plugged in - great time for the battery to die.

I just bought a generator today because mine went out late last night. Turns out on the way home from lowes, our power came back. I will donate it to the cause and to save cloakerpoker's tank if he needs it.

Acer, you have my cell number.

Everything is back on here (we didn't lose power until 8 AM), and everything but one cleaner shrimp made it. Given the fact that it was a $400 order with a big variety of stuff, I have to say I'm very impressed with the job they did. Everything is on the smallish side, which was to be expected, and the 6 line wrasse was stressed, but after getting him some new water with o2, he's looking the way a 6 line should. We ordered hundreds of inverts, 16 fish, a nem, and some rics, and just that one loss. I'd have to say that they did an excellent job, and bad feedback or not on the other forum, I'd order from them again without a second thought.
