I have also been told that if a clown has been in a tank for a while it will lose it's instincts to want to host. I still have a shot!

Why are both Haddoni's tentacles shrunken up and close together?

? part of it is the light the rest of it im not sure neither were perfectly healthy at the LFS but they eat and seem to be improving.

I was just wondering. They just look like as if they just stung something and they were retracting as they were firing their nematocysts. Nonetheless, both Haddon's look great.

they dont look great they look better. ;)

i have gone thru a few crazy things in the past couple weeks to get them healthy they were spending allot of time deflated so i raised my lights and did a lil force feeding

Iactually used that guy from Sacremento that worked in a LFS with like 32 clown and anemones in his tanks method. i shot selcon inside the carpets and it worked :) well dont take my word for it i think it worked it could be the new skimmer lowering nutrient levels i guess.

also i switched to grocery store shrimp the silversides i had were WACK.

GSM, what do you mean silversides were wack?
the ones i had were small and bony

get better silversides
The ones i use and have always been happy with are made by san francisco bay brand, they are called sally's silversides and have always worked great...

Sweet tank. I just read through the thread. I have a 40br. I love the 36x18 footprint, but I also like long tanks. But I'm just starting to appreciate depth for aquascaping as well. So I think my next tank, in a couple of years, will probably be a 120.

Just wondering, with the name gsmguy, why no gsm clowns?

Very cool. How were you able to mix clowns in one tank, or are they in a separate tank? I just ordered a pair online. They're not behaving like a pair, but they haven't tried to kill each other either. Wish me luck.

You wanna talk Tang Police...I stopped in at a few LFSes in the area today and nearly threw up when I saw this:
image002pq7.jpg

A tank filled with like 20 good sized Yellow Tangs...I mean...I know, they're an LFS and theorhetically don't have them in the system for very long...but good god.

(Sorry for the minor hijack, GSM...hehe...I had to.)

tell the tang police to kiss my A ;)

at this point i lost my potters angel to a mini crash so now i only have like 4 fish the tang has plenty of room and a large green slimmer to live in.

it will come out within a year and go into something big enough.

wow, i just stumbled across this thread, your tank is very clean. how do u mount your frags on the glass? my tank has the same dimension, i love the look of 3 foot tanks.
