Yeah i did, haha. Your tank looks great though, so it makes up for it, but I know you have some DIY skills. You need to go to Lowes/HD right now and get some supplies to make yourself a canopy! :) or at least get some some black paint and make it blend in a little, lol.

my friend has a woodshop at his house but he is busy building his canopy when he is done i will get working on mine i want to modify your design for 4t5 and the two pendants. im thinking of how to do it if you have any ideas let me know

How is the growth on the 20 K Ushios?

the growth is decent but the colors are awsome no actinic needed they are really nice and bright for a 20k

Wow, wow, wow.

I have one question -- approx how many pounds of liverock do you have in there? I'm ordering a 50gal and I love your aquascape...
Nice job.

What about pics of the grey one?
ill get one today that anemone is not in the best of shape never has been. it is still eating and i think has moved into a spot it likes more.
i had the sand around it far tooo deep and it was being smothered so two days ago i took out some sand and it seems to have responded well.

This tank is flippin' sweet!

I've got the same tank and was just looking for aquascaping ideas as I never really got around to it. The pile o' rock look is lacking for sure. Your layout is impressive! I will strive for this!

Nice clowns, I love your blue tang, one of my favs, corals and haddoni looking real nice under those 20K no actinic. I thought the 20K's would be bluer, but I guess with no actinic they look pretty darn good. I read that you wanted a deeper tank, I've always been a fav of shallow tanks, I think they are easier to 'scape with liverock and the lights make it look brighter if it's shallower, but we are all entitled to our opinions, great looking tank, best wishes!

we fish nerds apreciate a shallow tank, but the average joe on the street is more impressed by leangth and height.

my tank is bright and i think the anemones are a lil shocked by it the mint green is definetly smaller in the day time and the bright green has finnally gotten used to it but i run over 10wpg with really good reflectors.

The aquascape in the pictures is not even current:) i change it every week, Never happy

the new one is my favorite perfect placement of the anemones.

the tank is so bright it is very hard to get photos with the 20ks mess with colors i need to learn to adjust white balance.

thanks everybody for the compliments.

Haha true about the average joes, just like how clownfish people love to see A. nigripes, but the average joe's go crazy over the common ocellaris, kinda like that, I get what your saying, deeper tanks do have that "display tank" value to them, but I am extremely picky when it comes to tanks, and I don't really care about what other people think of it, but if you do care about other people viewing it, a deeper tank adds more effect to the display. I noticed that you had a high wpg, from the giant MH fixtures hanging over that little tank, haha. Hope everything works out, and what are you planning for a new tank, in terms of size?
