DOH!!! You're right! The only negative I have for this skimmer so far is the complete lack of documentation. There is one page with instructions for the easy height adjuster, but that's it.

SPStoner,

the way you have it would work just fine, you just wouldn't pull as much air in and you would most likely have more bubbles returning to the sump.

Net yet, Reefsalt. I have to get some plumbing supplies. Some of the people in the other forum said it is a metric fitting, which I may have trouble finding. I'll have to see what I can locate.


Soon, though...... It's assembled and sitting in my office. My wife thinks I'm nuts because she walks past my office door and I'm just sitting there staring at it
