It's a pic of what the mouth should look like for both anemones, gigantea/haddoni is not pertinent. my sincerest apologies for trying to give the guy a pic of what he needed rather then a haddoni in a tank where you can't see the mouth as posted above.

btw should i try and feed it?

Yes, I feed mine silversides or krill.

Ive had mine for 1.5 years. Ive found this is be the hardiest anemone Ive ever owned.

Here is a picture of my blue one ( ignore the snail on the glass. :) )

BTW --- I've had the blue one for about 6 months now and the yellow/tan one for about 6 years.

Ehhh, I am pretty sure it works both ways considering the fact Ocellaris don't naturally host S. Haddoni.

Correction: Clownfish host the anemone while the anemone allows them to host. :D

Sorry I was to tempted. lol

Here is my old blue and green Haddonis that I have since sold:

Sorry, I am also sorely tempted. Semireef, I think you are wrong. The host in this relationship is the Anemone, not the fish.

Here is the definition of the word host per Merriam-Webster
1 a : one that receives or entertains guests socially, commercially, or officially b : one that provides facilities for an event or function <our college served as host for the basketball tournament>
2 a : a living animal or plant on or in which a parasite lives b : the larger, stronger, or dominant member of a commensal or symbiotic pair
c : an individual into which a tissue, part, or embryo is transplanted from another
3 : a mineral or rock that is older than the minerals or rocks in it; also : a substance that contains a usually small amount of another substance incorporated in its structure
4 : a radio or television emcee
5 : a computer that controls communications in a network or that administers a database;

st9z. As a side note. Is that haddoni red ? It also looks to be around 18" in dia when compared to the snail in the picture ?
