Haddoni Carpet

Does anybody have a pic of what a healthy haddoni should look like..... especially the mouth would be great. I am trying to see if my carpet anemone is okay.

It's a pic of what the mouth should look like for both anemones, gigantea/haddoni is not pertinent. my sincerest apologies for trying to give the guy a pic of what he needed rather then a haddoni in a tank where you can't see the mouth as posted above.

Correction, Your anemone is starting to host your clownfish.

Yes, I feed mine silversides or krill.

Ive had mine for 1.5 years. Ive found this is be the hardiest anemone Ive ever owned.

Here is a picture of my blue one ( ignore the snail on the glass. )

BTW --- I've had the blue one for about 6 months now and the yellow/tan one for about 6 years.

A couple of FTS that also shows my yellow/tan one.

Ehhh, I am pretty sure it works both ways considering the fact Ocellaris don't naturally host S. Haddoni.

Correction: Clownfish host the anemone while the anemone allows them to host.

Sorry, I am also sorely tempted. Semireef, I think you are wrong. The host in this relationship is the Anemone, not the fish.

st9z. As a side note. Is that haddoni red ? It also looks to be around 18" in dia when compared to the snail in the picture ?

the anemone looks more brownish-magenta as for dia i am not sure
