Haddoni with open mouth help

need help and advice, please. mouth has been open for several days since i got it. i have not tried feeding yet. wondering what i should/can do? if anything is possible. i read not enough sand, too much light, it was super sticky when i put it in, haven't touched it. should i try feeding? i have some whole clams about the size of a nickle could thaw and try. any help is very much appreciated. it deflated last night and looked pretty bad, but came back today. otherwise been inflated the whole time. the foot is in the sand bad and not attached to the rock. just using the rock to prop against.

I would not feed it until it plants it's foot. It appears to be in really good shape, besides the mouth being slightly open. I would try and dig a small hole in your sand bed to try and help him out. How deep is your sand bed? It does not look to be deep enough.

IME, turn down all the flow, dig a hole, and let him grab hold.
