Darn... Oh well, the links will work.

Anyone want to PM me on why my pics are link, instead of pics?

Dwimber.....

Posting your pics not hard....basically do this: first click on the IMG tag, in the open dialog for script prompt enter your "copy and paste" from image in your photo album....where it says use this image tag (copy then paste this in the open dialog box, click ok)like I have done here for one of your lonks...

I used to a mess that that also but my Nitrates where thru the roof...

I am trying this product as well. I am 8 days into treatment. So I am about to put in the 3rd dose. I have mangroves, chaeto, and calerpa. Also have SPS and LPS. None of my livestock has been ill affected. The hair algae hasn't been affected either. I am hoping after the 5th dose to notice positive results. I'll post pics. once treatment is finished.

Finally, with your efforts, we may have a solution. I have been following your thread!!!

Thanks

Madreef, Glad to hear that I'm not the only one with this epic problem! I'm expecting my delivery tomorrow, and I'll be posting plenty of "during" pics. Hopefully, this, coupled with a phosphate reactor, will finally end this plague!

Thanks dwimber! I am watching this thread with great interest. Looking forward to your progress!

Good luck!

Sounds like it's time for me to try this stuff out. I was worried about all of the junk growing in my refugium.

Good luck Man! Bombs Away!

Any clue how this stuff actually works? As far of the mechanics/physics behind it? Does it lower the O2, bind with phosphates, have a chemical that specifically targets the hair algae, herbicide, what?

Yes please. Any updates from others that are trying this?
My situation continues to be good. Haven't treated anymore since 12/14 and all looks well.

Thanks

It's been since 12/25 on your last post.....I'v been following your test as u have various Macro Alga in your tank, do u have an update with pics would be good???? .....

Thanks in advance...

I added dose #1 on the 1st. I haven't done a water change in a couple of weeks, so maybe this is nothing, but I have noticed a couple of soft corals look stressed.

I'm planning on doing a 20 gallon water change tomorrow, and then adding dose #2... I'll update with some pics in a week or so.

(Also, I just started dosing "Mrs. Wages pickling" Kalkwasser... My calcium was a little high, so maybe that is why I have a couple of stressed out pieces...)

dwimber.........

Your right.............. it's tough when we make more than one change @ a time, therefore we are never sure which one caused what....Did you also check your ALK and pH ???? keep an an on the pH as you dose "limewater" Kalkwasser....I'm sure u know that !!!! rapid increases in ph VERY bad.....
