Happy New Year, Hope you all had a good time last night and made it home ok. Have a healthy and prosperous New Year. Grant

Well I must be getting old as my wife and I went to bed at @10. I guess we get a pass as we both had to work this morning.

p.s. did anybody see the shots of the Russian New Year with the snow falling and the fireworks. One of the most beautiful settings I have seen in a while.

Happy New Year to all and to all a year without pests. :spin1:

Ha, was asleep by ten
Woke to the sound of fireworks:celeb3:
Rolled over, back to sleep
Happy New Year:celeb1:

Craig how are you? Havn't heard or seen you on for a while. How are the tanks doing and the pond of course.

While I was looking forward to bed before midnight, it was not in the plans. I hosted an impromptu slumber party for my middle daughter. It was giggly teens til the wee hours. I very much enjoyed my full night's sleep last night. :)

And a happy new year to all!

Hey Grant and all. My tanks are doing about the same. Just got some Joes Juice to kill my aptasia.(They are actually kind of neat if they weren't such a pain.) Need to work on my algae and my green polyp takeover but I haven't had much damage lately fron the nudibranchs or seen them recently. I had a couple of montis survive so far.

The pond is doing well although I have to keep an eye out because when it rains the water causes a little compaction of the soil under the creek and it sinks causing slight leaks out the creekbed. I keep repairing and it seems o.k. for now. Had a couple of Raccoon issues but they can't get to my fish as it is deep enough but they did pull my filter fabric out causing the water to flow out the back of the filter and not into the pond. Lost about 2 feet of water depth by the time I got home.

I am trying to figure out how to put a float into the pond that automatically shuts down the pump if the water gets to low, that way I won't have to worry. Any ideas?

p.s. I got myself a present when Big als had a sale koralias %50 off, I replaced my older two for only $40 can't beat that plus the new ones are more powerfull and use less energy.:)

My wife is about to take the job in Pleasent Hill and I have missd a couple meetings hanging out with her as we won't see much of eachhother for the first few months as our schedules will be oppositte. The good news is that I will have more time for meetings. See you soon ,,,Craig.

if you have a drip system, just add a drip line to your pond and it will help keep the water level.
