lol. I was tuned into discover all night last night. However some of these shows are so stupid and you have to wonder how its not baited and forced for the sake of tv...

The guy kayaking with the Great Whites was pretty crazy.

Interesting that 4 days after filming someone was killed by a Great White at that exact location. Makes you wonder if they were intentionally drawing the sharks to that area.

The problem i had with the guy in the kayak was it was all for TV. They had 4 different shots from 4 different times you could tell by the guys sweat and redness, and every once in a while you would see the boom reflection on the water, others it was a wide shot with no one around.

It wouldnt surprise me if he dipped his paddle in chum before he went out

Not that I have an opinion on it.

I just didn't underatand how he was going to figure out what the sharks were doing there from a kayka. How much can you really see from that vantage point?

I agree with the above statement, just for TV.

Ya, lets go on a safari, smear blood on tents, etc. and then will have a great TV show of a Lion or other predator killing someone. even better we will drag a piece of meat thru a Lion pride - and marvel at the reaction of them feeding. I kinda don't get it. IF they only spend the time/money on "real" research on ocean life, etc. But, alas I show my prejudice and frustration.

So I was watching last night and a guy locked himself in a cage with a shark and was wresling it. What can possably be learned from that? I see no need for that, the only thing I seen happen was that a shark was harrased and given a bad experience with a human. I can't imagine that it will be long before someone is killed if this is the kind of programing Discovery is going to be going forth with.

Honestly I was kinda hoping that the shark would rip his hand off for being such a dumb ***.

Yes - I was surfing and I think I saw that scene. Once again, that is like - "what to do if you get locked in a closet with a Lion". It is all about "entertainment"- what a jerk- I found myself rooting for the sharks.
