Has anyone ever brought a fish back on FLIGHT? RCT HAWAII..

well the guy that actually supplies/catches the hybrids is the guy that informs me of where he has shipped them. he has told me that there has been no interest from the USA and he said that he has not shipped any in the US and only 12 from the past 20 yrs that he has caught them he has shipped them of to Asia. I have been talking to him about the hybrids and other rare angels in his area everyday for the past week.

Ah... these hybrids have a large range and are not like joculators or gem tangs that have one licensed collector... a big difference in what he has sent and what the fishery has sent... Anyway keep us updated... what an interesting hybrid...

totally true John, but he's the only importer I know of in Australia that deals with rare fish in his area. I am pretty sure theres others out there, but he imports the Jocs and other local fish in his area out here. from what he has told me. he's also pretty known in the fama magz and in the industry.

Frank is no longer producing C. multifasciatus...

Wow. He's producing C. debelius? That is absolutely amazing. So, I guess I'm the one guy who doesn't what other Paracentropyge he's trying....it's not P. boylei is it?

Sounds like a good contact fishsold... what coast is he on? Jocs and conspics could not both be local... they are found on opposing coasts, and Australia is obviously huge! The jocs are only found in the Cocos-Keeling Islands and Christmas Island on the Indian Ocean side... there is no collection on Christmas Island and there's only one licensced collector in the South Keeling Islands that does jocs... people in the US used to get them direct from him, but all of the recent ones have gone through Japan which equals BIG bucks...

wombat... I was talking about aspirations... it's no secret that someone would want to do P. boylei... like a Zebrasoma breeder aspiring to do gem tangs... (by the way, there are no fully captive Zebrasoma breeders :))
