Has anyone usd the Ecotech vortech propellers?

Reviews are mixed. I have one and love it! I'll be coughing up some cash for another soon;)

I tried them and was very disappointed with the loudness coming from the motor. I was originally using Tunze before Vortech, but now went back to Tunze. A much better pump that does not require annual replacements at the owner's cost just to keep them running properly.

I know two people that have them. One of them is Jnarowe and it put a hole in his acrylic tank and the other is mcrab and he was thinking of using duct tape to hold it onto the side of his tank. The magnets don't work properly anymore as I understand and he is having problems with them.He was also saying how they have not returned his e mail or phone call(one of the two). They don't seem to have the best customer service.I was thinking of buying some but I will get the tunze.I have the wave box and that works well.

That does it for me. I'll stay away from them too. What would be good for a 1000 gallon display?
I have no clue whats going on in this thread but...These pumps have gotten great reviews on this forum.

Are we not talking about the MP40W?

I don't believe this for a second. They have the best customer service I have ever experienced....
