have you had a fish that eats Mojanos?

Chaetodon capistratus it didn't bother any corals then again i didn't give it much time to get established once he was done i quickly took him out

I had a thread about this about a week ago.
Consensus says:
Kleins, Auriga, & Raccoon Butterfly fish are your best bets.

I ordered an Auriga from NY Aquatic, as he thought that was my best bet of the 3. I should get him this week, so we'll see.

I don't have Majano but I have matted filefish and it supposed to be good for aptasia but i dont have that much of those either. anyway doesn't eat corals nor clams if it doesn't eat Majano its a cool looking fish and its cheap.

plus one on matted filefish. decimated my aptasia, then cleaned the couple of majanos i had, then cleared the zoas and also a frogspawn...

I've heard many stories of these files devouring corals. My CBB emptied my tank of aiptasia and has been a model citizen ever since.

+1... Have 3 of them in my DT, originally took care of all aiptasia , majanos, and then moved onto Zoas . Never noticed any LPS problem. but maybe!
Main problem is they got lazy eating regular food and haven't touched aiptasia in 6 months!!!!

i have a Kleins and copperband, both are great aiptasia eaters but neither eat mojanos. they have also eaten feather dusters but not RBTA's or other inverts that i know about.

Filefish are hit or miss..mine hasn't touched any aiptasia and also leaves all the softies/LPS alone as well maybe because I feed my tank heavily with all the anthias I have...

My Copperband Butterfly ate all of the majanos after he ate all my aiptaisia. He doesn't touch zoas or any of my other corals or anemones, he's completely reef safe. I tried a matted filefish in the past, didn't touch the aiptaisia but loved corals, especially millepora.

i have a Copperband and Klein's butterfly. they both eat aiptasias but don't touch the Mojanos. i was hoping but am happy about the aiptasia eating.

time for another water change. will they ever end? no!
